課程簡介 Qualification Aims： The Certificate in Gin comprises six modules of engaging content which are designed to give the candidate an enhanced in-depth knowledge of the gin industry. The course was developed by leading experts in the category and offers a hands-on introduction to the world of gin. The candidate will delve into the rich history of gin and will learn about the key differences between the various styles of gin on the market. The candidate will learn the intricacies of the production process, as well as the importance of botanicals. Modules on gin tasting and gin cocktails will ensure the candidate is armed with the practical knowledge needed to fully appreciate gin and confidently run tastings. Upon completion, successful candidates will be able to describe key developments of the industry, both past and present, and give information on the key factors influencing style and quality of the final product. Consequently, they will be in a position to answer customer queries authoritatively, and to make informed selections of gins in a variety of situations.
