A versatile feather patch packed with long, flowing saddles perfect for tying larger, mobile flies. Ideal for woolly buggers through to saltwater and big predator patterns where movement is key. 30–50 feathers per pack Long saddle hackles for extended profile and movement Ideal for Woolly Buggers and streamer patterns Great for flatwings, saltwater flies, Barra and Murray Cod patterns Soft, mobile fibres for lifelike action in the water Easy to work with and highly versatile The Ewing Woolly Bugger Patch is built for tying flies that need length, flow, and presence. The long saddle feathers give you plenty of material to work with, whether you’re wrapping hackle on a bugger or building out bigger profiles for saltwater and predator flies. These feathers have excellent movement in the water, breathing and pulsing even on a slow retrieve. That natural action is what makes them so effective for species like barramundi and Murray cod, where movement often triggers the eat. They’re also a great option for flatwing-style patterns, allowing you to create long, flowing silhouettes without needing multiple materials. Who is this for? Perfect for fly tyers building Woolly Buggers, streamers, and larger saltwater or freshwater predator flies. Ideal when you want long, mobile feathers for patterns targeting barra, cod, and other aggressive species.
