PEBBLE WATERFALL LARGE Pebble Waterfall Stimulates natural drinking behavior in lizards Increases humidity levels Natural look integrates in any type of terrarium Very stable, not easily tipped over by larger reptiles Pump included Easy to clean The pebble design of the Exo Terra Waterfall brings the natural look of a small, cascading stream into your living room. Often used by reptiles and amphibians to hydrate, these little waterfalls and streams are an important feature in every tropical environment. The cascading water stimulates the natural drinking behavior of lizards (like: chameleons, anoles, water dragons, etc…) Cleaning is easy, as the waterfall can be dismantled into several parts. An Exo Terra Repti Flo pump is included to provide water circulation. As a safety measure, for smaller chameleons and frogs, small stones or gravel may be added to the collection tank. Organic waste should be removed from the collection tank at regular intervals to keep the water clean. Tap water should be treated with Aquatize to remove chlorine and heavy metals. Adding Biotize will help to keep the water cleaner longer, as well as promoting necessary beneficial bacteria and reducing odors associated with decaying waste. STIMULATES NATURAL BEHAVIOR. The presence of clean and fresh water is important for the long term husbandry of reptiles and amphibians. Many reptiles do not recognize stagnant, motionless bodies of water as a drinking source. The Exo Terra® Waterfalls provide a continuous supply of fresh, clean, aerated drinking water. The Exo Terra® Waterfalls constant movement of water tumbling down from the rocks, encourages your animals to drink more, keeping them properly hydrated and healthy. INCREASES HUMIDITY. Reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates and tropical plants require humidity conditions similar to those found in their natural environments. Providing the correct relative air humidity is vital for the proper care and maintenance of reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates. The continuously flowing water of the Exo Terra® Waterfalls will increase humidity levels in your terrarium. Adequate humidity levels aid the shedding process and help prevent respiratory problems. TRUE TO NATURE. The Exo Terra® Waterfalls have a very natural and realistic rock finish on the outside and a smooth non-pitted surface on the inside. This naturalistic design allows easy integration in desert, tropical or any other type of terrarium. The Exo Terra® Waterfalls perfectly combine the natural, decorative aspect with hygiene and easy maintenance.
