Artist Reflections הַשָּׁמַ֗יִם מְֽסַפְּרִ֥ים כְּבֽוֹד־אֵ֑ל וּֽמַעֲשֵׂ֥ה יָ֝דָ֗יו מַגִּ֥יד הָרָקִֽיעַ׃The skies declare the glory of Godthe expanse proclaims His handiwork Occasionally, we are invited to open our imagination to the vast unknown, and few things spark such curiosity as the stars and Milky Way above. Generally the horizon line is framed higher in a photograph to maintain balance. Yet I chose to frame the horizon low, creating an imbalance that draws our eyes to the sky and invites us into the expanse. The tree and horizon line still do hold importance as they anchor our connection with the infinite. The great challenge of the creative mind is to walk a fine balance between these two realities – the stable, unmoving grounds below and the ever changing, endless expanse above.
