Regular treatment with Expel Yellow Tube will also reduce the chances of verminous arteritis and colic caused by strongylus vulgaris. Expel Yellow Tube combines two active ingredients, Abamectin and Morantel Tartrate, that work together to give a cross kill action on a number of worms including the possible mectin resistant large roundworm. Treatment of large roundworms is particularly important to horses under 24 months of age.Expel Yellow Tube contains abamectin which kills up to 100% of bots and other worms (including benzimidazole resistant strains),whilst morantel tartrate is effective against tapeworms, small and large strongyles, large roundworm and pinworms.
