By the end, you’ll feel confident about beekeeping basics and walk away with a unique experience under your belt. Our hands-on honey bee farm tours are designed for beginners. Bring your kids, your spouse, your best friend or a date. Whether you want to become a beekeeper or just have a unique experience for a day, we’re here to share our knowledge and make it a memorable experience. Safety First: Our bees are gentle, but we still take every step to make your beekeeping experience extra safe. We provide a bee suit and teach you how to move around the hives to stay safe. All you need to bring is your sense of fun and adventure. Hands-on: We’ll show you how to inspect a colony and give you the opportunity to try it yourself. Not feeling it – it’s ok just to watch. We’ll move at a comfortable pace for you. Basics: We’ll cover everything from equipment to bee behavior. Learn how to properly light a smoker, open a hive, inspect for colony health, search for a queen and so on. Smile! Be the first of your friends to post a photo of your beekeeping experience!
