Picture yourself stranded all alone on the proverbial desert island. Few would relish that thought; after all, God Himself recognized that it is not good for us to live alone (Genesis 2:18). Relationships are vital to our happiness and offer companionship, support, encouragement, and opportunities to serve. With rare exceptions, heartfelt relationships particularly mean a great deal to women and girls.The book of Proverbs may seem like an odd choice of text for a study on relationships. But as it happens, rich teachings on relationships can be found within its pages. Proverbs has much to say about our relationships with God, family, friends, neighbors, the poor, the community, and more. It also describes many character traits that influence those relationships.
