Exputex is a sugar free cough medicine that helps break down thick mucus and alleviate a chesty, phlegmy cough. Exputex also helps move phlegm from your throat and chest. Each 5ml spoonful of Exputex contains 250mg of carbocisteine · Other ingredients: levomenthol, ethanol (alcohol), saccharin sodium, sunset yellow FCF (E110), sodium ethyl parahydroxybenzoate (E215), sodium propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E217), sodium methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E219), citric acid monohydrate, sodium hydroxide, carmellose sodium, glycerol, orange flavour, condensed milk flavour and purified water. Dosage: Adults: Initially 15ml three times a day, reducing to 10ml three times daily when a satisfactory response is obtained. Children: 6 - 12 years: 5ml two to three times daily. Children: 2 - 5 years: 2.5ml two to three times daily. Under 2 years: Not recommended. Warnings: Do Not Exceed the Stated Dose.
