This exquisite Edwardian engagement ring is a statement piece that retains an irresistible delicacy. The top of the platinum ring is a hexagon set on point. The (approximate) .50ct center diamond is set in a soft hexagonal bezel. An openwork design frames the bezel, the negative space creating a six-pointed star. An additional .50tcw of accent diamonds spangle the platinum's wonderful pierced and engraved geometry. Ornate diamond-set shoulders taper into a slim band. This outstanding ring is surprisingly wearable; its filigreed gallery has a nice, low profile. It's the best of all worlds. Circa 1910. Details.....Currently a size 5.25. The top of the ring measures 13mm by 13mm, and the band is 1mm wide. In Very Good Antique Condition.
