The Extender™ penetrates the pores of the PIP surface, and like a liquid rubber envelops it with a durable coating, expanding the shelf life of the surface by at least 10 years. In addition, the vibrant color options of the poured in extender™ solution will give your playground a brand new and enlivened look. The extender can also be used to create bike tracks, shapes and logos on your PIP surface without creating seams that might present ADA issues and tripping hazards in the future. As a simple rule, your surface has to have a little pitch for water runoff, since the extender™ application completely seals the surface. Minimum temperature to apply the extender is 50 degrees.
