It features a convenient, battery compartment cover for easy, on-the-go battery replacement without needing to remove the EG-E2 extension grip from the camera body. Ergonomic grip, providing additional camera height, allowing users to hold the EOS R8 camera more securely. Attaches directly to the camera without requiring the removal of the camera battery compartment cover. The camera battery and SD card can still be easily replaced while the grip remains attached to the camera. There is an integrated tripod mount so you can still utilize tripods without having to remove the grip. Supports the use of the Hand Strap E2 (sold separately) for added security and convenience when holding the camera. Provides the same dust and water resistance as the EOS R8 Mark II camera body.
