The GearHooks® Guitar Racks can all be expanded, upgraded and customised by adding Extra Guitar Hooks to provide the maximum storage in the minimum space. Unused space between guitar necks can be filled with all kinds of gear or smaller instruments. Extra Guitar Hooks These are fitted with silicone sleeves which are suitable for all guitars including those with Nitrocellulose lacquer as well as ukuleles, banjos and other instruments. They come with rail mount fixings and a straps to protect the outer guitar. Longer hooks have an extra strap to stop the hooks spreading. The 45mm gap is ideal for most electric and acoustic guitars. For 12 string or Spanish guitars, with a neck wider than 45mm at the nut, you may need to spread the prongs on the hook which is easier with the longer hooks. All hooks are double prongs with a 45mm gap and come with Silicone sleeves, rail fixings and strap(s):DP45/100S - 100mm long hook for 1 guitar.DP45/200S - 200mm long hook for 2 guitars. DP45/300S - 300mm long hook for 3 guitars. Each GearHook® is Manufacture from cold formed steel with bright zinc plating to prevent corrosion and has a soft silicone coating to protect your guitars. It can be adjusted up, down and sideways (or rotated 360 degrees if needed) to stop adjacent parts colliding and comes with a CNC machined clamp, Hex head bolt and M8 sliding nut enabling it to be fitted anywhere on the GearRail®. Nitrocellulose Lacquer - may be used on Vintage and very expensive guitars. Silicone will not react with Nitrocellulose.
