Inoculate Clean injection port with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Inject 4–10 mL of liquid culture or spore syringe. Gently shake to distribute. 2. Colonize Store at 70–75°F in a clean, dark area. Once 30–70% colonized, mix (optional) to accelerate growth. Full colonization typically takes 10–18 days. 3. Combine Mix colonized grain with the 10 lb CVG substrate. Combine inside a monotub or directly in the bag. Gently level the surface. 4. Incubate Maintain 70–75°F in indirect light. Allow 5–10 days for full substrate colonization. 5.
