The extra large selenite crystal slab combines a slab-shaped form with long mineral bands and changes in transparency across the broad face from the original stone. A listed measurement of 20cm gives the most useful indication of how the slab will sit on display.Product details Material: Selenite Colour: White Approximate size: 20cm Design: Slab-shaped form Choose a position on a lined shelf away from keys and coins for the slab so the edges are protected from knocks. The extra large selenite crystal slab works best where the complete base or length is supported because frequent handling is not necessary. For this slab, do not place wet cups or plant pots on the stone; the broad surface and edges can still be marked by pressure or moisture. What may differ: The original mineral determines the balance of cloudy and clearer areas on the extra large slab, so exact repetition is not possible. Within the shape of the extra large selenite crystal slab, one side may look cloudier than the other, as each piece is cut from a different section of stone.Looking after it: Care for the extra large slab by choosing to use a soft brush around corners or carved lines; never wash the piece under a tap. Between handling, keep the extra large slab in a dry cabinet or lined display area and check the surface underneath before setting it down.
