Extra T-Bars for use with the Edge Guide(The Edge Guide is a separate purchase and is required to use the T-Bars)3" and 5" Flat T-BarsThe basic Edge Guide comes with a 2" flat T-Bar. Many customers requested larger flat T-Bars so we created the 3" and 5" flat T-Bars for use with any sewing machine with an Edge Guide. Domestic Baby Lock and Brother T-BarsJ-Foot 1/4" and 1/8" T-BarsThe standard J-foot that comes with all Baby Lock and Brother domestic sewing machines is wider than 1/4" so we created a special cut out to allow you to position the edge guide next to your J-Foot and get a perfect 1/4" spacing from the needle to the edge of the J-Foot 1/4" T-Bar. We also created a special cut out to allow you to position the edge guide next to your J-Foot and get a perfect 1/8" spacing from the needle to the edge of the J-Foot 1/8" T-Bar. Domestic Bernina T-BarsThere are many Bernina domestic sewing machines that use a 97 or 97D presser foot. These presser feet are more than 1/4" from the needle to the edge of the foot so we created two special T-Bars with cut outs to allow for 1/4" and 1/8" edges: Semi-Industrial and Industrial T-BarsSemi-Industrial and Industrial machines use the same 1/4" presser feet. My favorite 1/4" foot to use is the 1/4" teflon foot because it glides over leather and vinyl rather than sticking like the metal foot does. You can use any of the flat T-Bars with your 1/4" foot to achieve 1/4" seams, or position the T-Bar to the right to get a larger seam (move over one notch and you get a 3/8" seam, move 2 notches and get a 1/2" seam, etc.)If you want to get a 1/8" seam allowance, you need a T-Bar with a cut out so the material is positioned 1/8" from the needle as pictured. The 1/8" Semi-Industrial T-Bar is compatible with: Bernette B08 Janome HD9 Baby Lock Accomplish Juki Straight stitch machines Industrial machines
