With a scraping motion, overlap streaks of red, purple, and black on the highest surfaces. To apply makeup over a large area, hold the White makeup Sponge between fingers, dip and rub the sponge into makeup, and apply in long strokes to skin. For better coverage, use a stippling (up-and-down patting) motion to apply the makeup instead of long strokes. For a five-o’clock shadow or beard effect, round the corners of a piece of black Stipple Sponge to create a sphere. dip the sponge into black cream makeup and test coverage by lightly stippling the back of your hand. once desired coverage is determined, stipple makeup at the jaw line, chin, sideburns, and upper lip—anywhere a natural beard appears.
