Eza hat - a great project for your yarn scraps In the spirit of sustainability, we have designed a hat for your yarn scraps. Use any yarn scraps that fit the knitting gauge - preferably wool scraps - as it will make the hat warm and snug. The hat is fairly easy to knit, so knit a whole stack of them and give them to everyone with cold ears this winter. The pattern is a PDF file. Cast on and knit a rib edge with twisted knit stitches with No. 1 until there is no more yarn. Switch to yarn No. 2 and knit garter stitch pattern with stripes in the three colors from the mittens. Bind off in knit ridge pattern and finally, make a tassel in Cusi and sew it on.
