In Ezra and Nehemiah, players head to ancient Jerusalem where they will be building the temple and city walls as well as teaching the Torah to returning exiles. It is a thematic st rategy game where, over the course of three rounds of play, players will deploy workers, play cards, and gather resources to rebuild Jerusalem. They will also develop their land, travel to settlements outside the city walls, and stoke the altar's fire to keep it burning. Each round is a week of in-game play, where players can work for six days and rest on the Sabbath.
