About The Design Showcasing the iconic F-16 Fighting Falcon or Viper as aircrew call it, this design pays tribute to the Belgian Air Force display team loved by people all around the globe. Piloted by Senior Captain Steven De Vries, better known as “Vrieske”, from the Belgian Air Force is the first F-16 Pilot outside the US to have surpassed the 5,000 hours on the mighty Viper. Vrieske started his career on F-16 at the age of 21 and on his First ever Display with his Dream Viper he got awarded the Bill Hartree Trophy for the most entertaining Flying Display in Cosford. And won the prize for best livery in Fairford! Sadly it wasn't to last long and in 2023 the team was disbanded due to the transition to the F-35 and (lack of) availability of F-16's in the Belgian Fleet. Sorely missed, this was one of the most iconic liveries on display in the global circuit.
