Character & Style An expressive Gewurztraminer with intense, spicy aromatics. Rose petals shape the nose, accompanied by subtle notes of cinnamon and pepper. On the palate, Rhapsodie is powerful and structured, yet distinctly dry and carried by lively acidity. The 22-day skin fermentation brings tannin, depth and definition, setting a clear, almost taut structure against Gewurztraminer’s characteristic aromatic richness. A distinctive Gewurztraminer with tension, spice and a long finish. Origin & Vinification Rhapsodie comes from the limestone-rich Neuweg terroir in Gueberschwihr. The vineyards are farmed organically according to biodynamic principles. The grapes are harvested by hand and selected directly in the vineyard. Fermentation is spontaneous, with 22 days on the skins. The wine then ages for 10 months in large foudres. Rhapsodie is bottled unfiltered, with a minimal amount of sulphur added before bottling.
