The F2 was created for mid to high end Road and Mountain Bikes. It has an oval shape for increased resistance to twisting forces and is a flip flop stem. One angle will provide +7 degree rise. Flip it over and you'll get -7 degree rise. It was specifically designed with carbon fiber handlebars in mind, though alloy bars work perfectly well, too.
