Fabienne, originally from France, made Calgary her home in 2001. She rekindled her love of painting ten years ago. She uses classical oil painting techniques such as glazing for he r portraits in her studio, and scrubbing and scumbling for her landscapes during camping. She believes artists are magicians when they create beauty with paints, violins, or their own bodies.
