This Bone China mug features a crisp architectural drawing of a London landmark: the facade of Sir John Soane's Museum. Soane bought the houses at No.s 12-14 Lincoln's Inn Fields between 1792 and 1823, demolishing and rebuilding them to create an extraordinary building which was at once a private residence, an office for his architectural practice and a showcase for his expanding collection of works of art and architectural fragments. Soane left the house to the nation on his death in 1837, and the result is the Museum that you can visit to this day. The drawing of the facade has been produced by CAD experts Linescapes, who create architectural portraits of iconic buildings and landmarks. 8cm diameter, 9cm height Fine Bone China, made in the UK Microwave and dishwasher safe Linescapes' facade drawing also features on our exclusively designed fridge magnets, aprons, teatowels, tote bags, tablemats and coasters.
