What are the most common causes of facial redness and why does my skin care routine work so well for them? The two most common causes of facial redness are, rosacea, facial seborrheic dermatitis. When you have rosacea and/or facial seborrheic dermatitis (facial dandruff), your pores have more Pityrosporum yeast germs in them. If you have rosacea then we know that your pores may also have an increased number of demodex mites.
