These fade bundles feature 4 skeins of my Rivendell Fingering base dyed in a gradient using a technique known as exhaust dyeing. This means that all the colors of each set are dyed in the same pot, with the darkest shade representing the first round of dyeing, the next lightest the second, and so on. This is a way to reduce dye waste while producing lovely gradients that fade perfectly from one tone to the next. Composition: 100% Non-Superwash fine (21.5 micron) Merino, 4 ply worsted spun construction Meterage: approx 400m (437 yards) per 100g hank Please see the policies page for a description of the natural color variations in hand-dyed yarn. I rinse and wash my yarns thoroughly, but crocking is normal while knitting and colors may still bleed a little. Please wash your knits in cold water, with mild soap.
