Inspired by a long walk I used to take with my grandmother, across open ground that seemed to stretch on endlessly before the view opened at the edge. That memory now feels hazy, m ore a sense of space and feeling than clear detail. Soft layered brush marks suggest the sweep of the land and the passing of time.
