A small, flat springy metal clip It has a loop or tab you press down to open the clip. When released, the clip springs back and holds a bare wire in place via tension. Insert the stripped end of a wire (solid wire works best). Release the tab, and the spring clamps the wire in place. To disconnect, press again and pull the wire out. Measures approximately 7/8" in length and about 5/16" wide. Stands about 3/8" tall when not in use. The mounting hole is for mounting and/or connection of the base wire. The hole diameter is about .118" (will fit a 6-32 bolt if you ream out the hole diameter a tiny amount). The metal is magnetic (ferrous).
