Pattern Required: Fairytale Pumpkins quilt pattern from Fig Tree & Co. No scary goblins here -- just cute pumpkins to make your Halloween a happy holiday. Choose from a bed quilt (Marnet made hers "just a tad different" from the pattern and enlarged it by adding borders. You do you!), a table/bed runner or a table mat, and sharpen your sew and flip skills by creating the black/white borders throughout the quilts. Marnet will demonstrate the various components of the quilt to enable you to do "homework" between classes if you so choose. You will (hopefully!) improve essential piecing skills with emphasis on refining your rotary cutting technique (cutting clean strips), attention to alignment and consistency in seams. The focus of this class is on building confidence and technique -- not finishing a quilt in two classes -- while enjoying the camaraderie of like-minded quilters.
