A walking foot or Teflon® foot may be helpful with faux suede Hand sewing needles Pattern weights-helpful for the plaid fabric when matching. Can be anything to hold the pattern in place. Sewing machine needles appropriate for the type of fabric you are using 3 to 4 of the closure of your choice: Frog closures, Buttons, Sew on snaps, or Plastic resin snaps and tool for attaching. These are great if you wish to make cape reversible. A 5” or 6” separating zipper can be used for the closure if desired.
