When the beautiful colours of fall foliage appear I can’t help but think of some of my favourite fall memories! My Mom’s pumpkin bread (which she continues to make frequently). My daughter’s wish to always make pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving. My son’s memory of making cider donuts & always requesting a side of homemade mac & cheese with thanksgiving dinner. My Dad cleaning out the seeds from what would be our Jack-o-lantern & roasting them (there was a fire once;) My sister’s iced shortbread cut out pumpkin cookies. My hubby game for smoking our turkey the last few years & carving it :) There are other non food related memories too! Like favourite sweaters, corn mazes, apple picking, pumpkin patches, jumping in leaves, bonfires and my family rolling their eyes when I ask if they’ll watch ‘It’s the great pumpkin Charlie Brown’ with me;) What are you favourite fall things??
