"Fall Reflections" is a new twist on a fall landscape with the focus on a peaceful pond's point of view. Gorgeous fall leaves float peacefully in the pond, reflecting the soaring t rees above it on a crisp fall day. This piece combines ultramarine blues, oranges, russets, deep yellows and even touches of purple. I paint in thick layers using a palette knife and texture medium that ultimately catches light and shadows as well as contributing unusual color elements to the image as the next layer is applied.
