As I painted this scene, I imagined the hush of an autumn afternoon — the crisp air, the golden leaves drifting down, and the way the sunlight turns everything it touches into pure radiance. The birch trees stand tall and graceful, their white bark catching the light while cascades of orange and yellow leaves tumble toward the earth. I used my palette knife to layer the colors thick and bold, so the painting feels alive with texture and movement — almost as if the leaves are still fluttering down before your eyes.
