Behind the Art This view will always be precious to me. As teens, my now-husband and I constantly visited False Creek, walking around the seawall and daydreaming about one day livi ng in the neighbourhood. Years later, that dream came true and we moved into our first apartment! I took this photo on one of our many walks around the Creek. It was a crisp October evening and the leaves were beginning to change colour. We were hammocking by the water, talking as the sun set and the city began to glow. Though we've since moved away, this painting reminds me of a season of life that was simple, exciting, and full of gratitude.
