Inspired by the brilliant blues of lazuli and indigo buntings, the shifting shimmers of this mid-tone blue capt ure the essence of these elusive songbirds. Despite their eye-catching plumage, buntings are often difficult to spot, glimpsed only as fleeting flashes of color in the treetops or brush. Any Bunting Will Do pays tribute to birders everywhere (myself included) who struggle to spot these common, but evasive, songbirds.
