A Canadian variety also known as Snow Apple (due to it's milky white flesh) - grown in Quebec Province between 1700-1850. It is very hardy and offers great disease resistance with the exception of scab. It is considered to be one of the ancestors of McIntosh with it's characteristic sweet, vinous flavours.
