About the artistFan Ho Born in Shanghai in 1931, he moved to Hong Kong with his family in 1949. Ho began taking photos at an early age with his father's camera. Largely self-taught, his photographs reflect his interest in the city, including alleys, slums, and markets. He developed his photographs in his bathtub at home, producing an important collection of work documenting Hong Kong in the 1950s and 1960s, a city that was then becoming a major metropolis. Ho was named one of the "Top 10 Photographers in the World" by the Photographic Society of America from 1958 to 1965. What is collotype?
