The Farmhouse Table was designed and produced by Frama Studio. In the sentiment of traditional farmhouses, the table is made solely from functional elements; abiding by the notion of the simple life in the countryside and expressing a rural aesthetic. The Farmhouse Table represents a new, organic addition to Frama's Permanent Collection. The Farmhouse Table is comprised of two trestles and one metal fixing plate used in conjunction with a super-thick round tabletop. The trestles resemble the exposed beams apparent at traditional farmhouses and add extra stability by securing the tabletop. The surface of the table stands out with its rustic oak construction, which gives each table a distinctive and unique character. The tabletop features a reversible surface: One side displays an intriguingly knotted appearance while the opposite features a less knotted, more consistent complexion. Entirely crafted in solid oak, the tables pay tribute to the elegance and malleability of wood. It offers a delicate balance between the durability of the materials and the gracefulness of the forms. The Farmhouse Table is designed for everyday and built to last for many years of use, gaining a natural patina over time. The table is versatile and can be used as everything from a studio working desk to a dining table.
