Our rope manufacturers change the manufacturing process based on a number of factors. As they go through this process, they tweak the formula to try to produce the best feeling rop e possible. Some ropes don’t make the cut for first quality thus creating seconds. Each second rope has gone through the same process as first quality ropes, but does not include a tail tag. The tail tag shows the size and lay of the rope unfortunately a second rope cannot prove that consistency, so we cannot provide an option to shop by size or lay.
