FAST™ is a series of mounts and platforms that provide end users with a more rapid sight picture than standard height mounts. The FAST™ 2.26” optical center line gives the operator ultimate efficiency, promoting a heads-up posture and faster reticle acquisition even when wearing communications headsets, night vision goggles, protective masks and plate carriers that can impede a natural shooting position. It also allows for more rapid visual processing of the battlefield by promoting an ergonomically correct posture. Together with a FAST™ Offset Optic Adapter Plate, which is required for the FAST™ Offset Optic Base to function, it provides a base for attaching any number of mini red dot sights directly to the scope mount. The Offset Optic Base places mini red dot sights at a 35 degree offset from the scope tube for faster transitions. When used with the Optic Adapter Plates, the mini red dot will have a mechanical centerline of 2.05” above the rail.
