Want to master making your own clothes? This bundle is ideal for beginners eager to learn to sew clothes that fit. With 5 flexible Sew Anything classes, which can be booked on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays, you’ll be guided through a beginner clothing project that we’ve handpicked just for you. By the end, you’ll have the skills to confidently create your own garments. Our experienced tutors will teach you essential dressmaking techniques reading patterns, measuring and fitting to your body shape, fabric cutting and marking sewing, and finishing. Throughout the classes, you'll work on a beautifully fitted dress or top, incorporating core clothes sewing methods such as seams, sleeves, gathering, pockets and hemming. Cost: $50 per class What’s included: 5 flexible classes Fabric: Enjoy a 10% discount on our fabric range for your garment fabric when you sign up. What’s a Sew Anything class? Great question! These are our weekly adult classes, which run on Tuesdays from 10 AM – 1 PM, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 AM – 12:30 PM, and sometimes on Saturday mornings and afternoons. When you buy this bundle, you have the flexibility to choose whichever day and week works best for you. You can use your 5 classes as quickly or as spread out as you’d like—it’s all about flexibility! Each class will have two tutors guiding up to eight students through their projects. Please note, if you have complex fit requirements or need extra assistance we run one-on-one classes on Fridays for $80 per hour which can be a great option to get you started. Participants will need to purchase either a Helen's Closet PDF pattern for $24.85, a Matchy Matchy Sewing Club PDF Pattern for $22 or choose a pattern from Thread Theory for $25 each. Arden Pants The Arden Pants are everyday high-waisted pants with loads of versatility. A classic elastic-waist pant with front and back pockets. Views B and C feature a jogger-style cuff in two different widths. The Matchy Matchy Sewing Club - Pattern sizes XXS-6XL (Bust 31” - 64” / 79cm - 162cm) Champagne Field Dress or Top At Wildstitch this is a much-loved pattern as it is easy to achieve a good fit with it's loose silhouette, it provides a chance to learn gathering skills and it's a super comfy easy to style garment to add to your wardrobe. Perfect Puff Sleeve Top We have found this super stylish pattern very popular here at Wildstitch Studio as it is easy to fit and a fun way to add gathering to the sewing skills you have tackled. Archer Pants The relaxed fit, comfy elastisized waist and fun design details make these pants a great choice for learning to sew. OR Thread Theory - Pattern Sizes (XS-5XL) Woodley Tee A classic, relaxed fit long or short sleeve Tee, the Woodley is beautifully drafted pattern and we think it's a great one to master as it's a versatile basic you'll be making again and again. Please let us know in the "comments" section of the shopping cart which option you would like to make. Please Note: The class cost does not include fabric as individual requirements will vary. We will have a great selection of appropriate fabrics in store that you can buy before the class or on the day. (We recommend before so that fabric can be washed to account for a small amount of shrinkage). Accessibility: Despite our goal to have an accessible sewing classroom, in our current location the classroom is unfortunately up a flight of stairs. There is a small bathroom downstairs, not wheelchair accessible. If you have any queries about the accessibility of our classroom, please give us a call. We do have a mobile classroom which we take to different venues that are wheelchair accessible, so please do keep an eye out for those classes if you are unable to visit our North Hobart store. NO SHOW POLICY All Wild Stitch Studio Classes are limited to a certain number of class participants. You do need to give us notice if you wish to cancel your class. If you are unable to attend the class that you have booked, you must give us 1 WEEKS’ NOTICE. Failure to do this means that your fee has been forfeited. Last minute cancellations will also be considered as No Shows
