Similarly, Jains, Buddhists, and Hindus use fasting for spiritual growth and redemption. Even secular, technologically advanced cultures recognize fasting's value for health and political reasons. Muslim tradition highlights that all prophets—Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (P)—practiced fasting.
