This is a vibrant and buoyant terrestrial pattern designed to attract aggressive strikes from trout in rivers and streams. Its high visibility and ample foam body make it an ideal choice for fishing turbulent waters or as an indicator fly in a dry-dropper setup. Pro Tip: Fish the Purple Fat Albert during the summer months when terrestrial insects like grasshoppers are abundant, focusing on casting near overhanging vegetation or along undercut banks. Its purple hue stands out against the water's surface, making it particularly effective during low-light conditions or when fish are feeding aggressively near the surface. Sold in 3 packs. Tied on barbed Daichi, Mustad, Gamakatsu or Ahrex hooks. Show more
