The Fat Albert is a large, buoyant terrestrial dry fly that mimics grasshoppers, beetles, cicadas, and other big insects that fall into the water. Known for its foam body and exagg erated profile, this fly is highly effective during late summer and early fall when terrestrial activity peaks. The Fat Albert can also be used as an indicator fly in dry-dropper rigs because of its excellent floatation. Show more
