1960s - 1970s A tactile Fat Lava ceramic table lamp featuring a richly textured turquoise glaze with dramatic volcanic drips and pooled detailing. The bold surface treatment and or ganic form are characteristic of West German ceramic production of the late 1960s and 1970s, a period celebrated for expressive glazing and tactile finishes. The lamp is wired for Australian use and is paired with a new hand-made raffia shade from Morocco.
