On hikes with my wife, we observe many flowers and plants, each with their own beauty. We can identify some of them by name but many we cannot. This sculpture was created as a play ful exploration of fauna characteristics without representing a specific species. It captures the feeling of a succulent with elements of a flower dropping it’s petals onto a fallen birch tree representing the passage of time which ensures the replenishment of nutrients and a continuous regeneration of beauty.
