Known as one of the best pears grown in the Ural region of Russia, Favoritka is a large, yellow-green pear with a distinctive dark pink, reddish blush. An excellent variety for fre sh eating and preserving, this variety imparts a buttery sweet and savoury flavour. Trees yield a bounty of pears, averaging 200 grams each, and ripen around mid to late September, with a storage life of up to two months in cold storage.
