Shabu-shabu sauce with a rich sesame flavor. Mitsukan's "Goma Shabu 250ml" is a sesame sauce-type hot pot seasoning developed to enhance the taste of shabu-shabu at home. Its great est feature is the rich, fragrant sesame flavor achieved by using plenty of roasted sesame paste. The original richness and umami of sesame are fully felt, and the moderate use of spices creates a mild yet timeless taste. The rich flavor and mellow sweetness of sesame go well with shabu-shabu meat and vegetables, especially pork, chicken, tofu and Chinese cabbage. The addition of multiple seasonings such as sesame oil, miso, and soy sauce (containing wheat and soybeans), brewed vinegar that adds a slight sourness, and sweet fructose glucose liquid sugar create a deep, well-balanced flavor. The sesame seeds are blended with spices, giving it a refreshing yet complex depth.
