Mrs. Ross (1885-1957)Every once in a while, you hear of a fearless woman. Mrs. Ross homesteaded near DNA Gardens when her husband left to fight in WWI. With three children in tow, she "grabbed the reins" and kept farming with horses, even with no power and running water. She was one tough lady. Show more
