Ultralight racing cap built for moving fast The Feather Racing Cap does one thing brilliantly: disappears. At just 42g (S/M), this is VÅGA's lightest racing cap – the sort of thing you forget you're wearing until you cross the finish line and realise your head isn't a sweaty mess. It's built around open-pore mesh that manages moisture without feeling like you've wrapped your forehead in cling film, while the laser-cut buckram peak sheds water and stays rigid enough to actually keep sun, wind and rain out of your eyes. The unstructured five-panel design moulds to your head rather than perching on top of it, and there's an adjustable strap with heat-sealed ends, because nobody needs their cap flying off as you’re flying downhill. Whether you're racing ultras or just prefer running kit that doesn't slow you down, this is the cap for when every detail matters. VÅGA was born in the Lake District after one too many soggy fell runs in caps that either fell apart after one race season or felt like wearing a plastic bag on your head. Founded by runners who wanted performance headwear that could handle all weathers, VÅGA has quietly built a reputation for caps that do exactly what they're supposed to: keep the sun off, the sweat away, and stay put when you're moving fast. Like most elite athletes, they're obsessed with marginal gains. When it comes to design, that means getting the tiniest details right. Every cap is designed with input from runners who've clocked thousands of miles in brutal conditions. The result is a range that spans ultralight racing caps for when every gram counts, all-weather options for when the Lakes are doing their worst, and lifestyle pieces for when you're off the trails but still want something that looks the part. No gimmicks, no unnecessary tech – just well-made headwear that works as hard as you do, whether you're chasing PBs or relaxing post-race.
