Featherbom is a seed bomb that contains a wildflower mix to attract butterflies and bees during the summer and produce grains and seeds for birds during the cold winter months. Contains seeds from 100% UK Native Species of plants. Seed Mix: Phacelia, Wild Carrot, Teasel, Millet, Common Knapweed, Cornflower, and Birdsfoot Trefoil. HOW TO GROW: Pull the pin and throw or drop Seedboms into areas that are in need of brightening up. Seedboms like bare soil, natural light and to be kept damp whilst growing. LIFECYCLE: The seed mix in Featherbom Seedbom contains a mix of plant species that have annual or biennial lifecycles. What do these mean? Annual – Plants with a life cycle that lasts only one year. They grow from seed, bloom, produce seeds and die in one growing season. They then need to be replanted each spring. Most annuals bloom for a long time and provide beautiful colours from spring through to autumn before dying off. Biennial – Plants whose life cycle spans two years, they flower and produce seeds in their second year. They grow as green plants their first year, survive the winter and then bloom the following year. After they bloom and produce seeds, biennial plants then die off.
